Conception of the new visual identity of Musée des Beaux-Arts of Bordeaux. To carry the museum's history and its collections, the visual identity adopts a contemporary positioning, in order to allow the museum's growth of attractiveness and notoriety, at a regional, national and international level, and make the oldest museum of Bordeaux enter the 21st century.
The MusBA acronym, cornerstone of the whole identity, allows better legibility, and anchors the Fine Arts Museum identity in the actual cultural landscape. A specific typeface was conceived for the museum, reflecting its classic heritage, while being resolutely forward-looking. Alongside an organized and flexible graphic system it deploys a strong and recognizable visual universe, on all types of medium developed in this axis and wants to be timeless.
